Kingdom of Elyssius
The kingdom of Elyssius is the largest, most prosperous kingdom on Lumyr, taking up almost a third of its total landmass. Many communities from villages to large cities are spread all across the country. The biggest of which, the capital of Genesia, lies nestled at the tip of Elyssius, following along the edge of the ocean. Towering over the city itself, visible from anywhere within Genesia stands the monument of the Hero of Light, a large statue seemingly carved into the mountain by the drakoni of the past.
The majority of the country’s land consists of a rather monotonous, temperate landscape. Grasslands and forests take up roughly 65% of it with many rivers, lakes and even a couple of swamps scattered across. Some areas within Elyssius are more mountainous while others consist of large stretches of grassy plains. The biggest variety can be found close to the other countries' borders where the landscapes suddenly shift.

The residents of Elyssius consist of a varied group of drakoni but it remains prominently populated by the althian. Their varied origins give them good endurance towards most climates, though those born in Elyssius do not usually fare too well in the depths of Yoraawi or Baldorin. The culture within the kingdom of Elyssius is as diverse as its inhabitants, with towns and cities varying greatly between different locations. At the end of the day, however, they all end up on the same page. No place feels too different to another, save for some settlements near the borders, which typically adopt a mixture of the two countries near them.

Genesia
Albeit not the largest city in terms of population with only about 2.5 million citizens, Genesia's expansive territory and significant history make up for its size. It is both - the capital of Elyssius, and the home to the Elyssian king's castle.

The city's territory follows along the edge of the ocean making it one of Elyssius' most prominent port cities. Settled underneath the monument of the Hero of Light, the city slowly rises the closer you get to the mountain. Many buildings further into the city are built on inclines. Genesia has evolved a lot over the centuries, showcasing mixture of old and modern architecture.
